Anyone who knows me will be looking at this page and saying "I knew there'd be one somewhere..." Yes, in deference to my long lived fascination with draconic critters, here's my tip of the hat to everyones favourite waterborne Scottish lass.
This Nessie is a three quarter relief carving from an old chunk of weathered redgum. Three quarter relief? Well, not exactly. There just wasn't enough material in the piece to complete the left hand side of her body and still do her justice. The price of working with raw materials... She's polycoated for added protection from the elements and that glossy wet look that all sea dwellers like.
